- Collection of Statistical Data at the Grass root level
- National Sample Survey (NSS)
- Agriculture – Crop Cutting Experiment and Compilation the District Crop Report
- Other Survey viz the Economics Census, Employment and Un-employment Survey, Business Register Survey and other Surveys as entrusted by the Government from time to time
- Publication viz the District Statistical Handbook and the District At A Glance
- Price – Collection of Price of different essential commodities and other materials for compilation the State Price Statistics at the Directorate Level
